“I loved the overall program. Loved STICKY scripture, lots of great feedback and was a good upgrade from kidvid. I'm noticing the fifth graders who have attended since preschool are slightly bored with the same format each year. They know what to expect (good thing) but some seemed to want more or new. Leaders love the consistency though. Imagination Station leader gave feedback that there was too much waste this year. Lots of plastic that needed thrown away (the town our church is in doesn't recycle still) and she is a HS science teacher. She thought there would be less waste given that it was an ocean theme. Tried to reuse or recycle as much as possible. I love that the WOW moments at the closing were more easily accessible and not expensive, but I wish one or two had been bigger wows. Some were less impressive in such a large worship center, too. Even some of the floating objects were hard to see from the back and kids weren't overly impressed. But again, I liked that I could talk through them and it wasn't so hard to gather things for closing. I also liked the Sydney script but I'd love if there were suggestions as to where to plug it in. It often feels out of place and doesn't fit naturally. CLs feedback: loved the talk points throughout, wished snack was more hands on again, songs were great this year, top stations were imagination station and Bible, sticky was a close third. Not a fan of this year's Bible buddies, but appreciate trying to keep updating them for today's kids. LOVE your easy VBS and what it gives to our church and community! Thanks for all you do to keep VBS going and for doing what you can to make it accessible to churches. Already excited for next year's!”
