“We really liked Sticky Scripture. The music was not as strong as previous years- but kids still liked it. I loved the Gospel of John handouts. Bundling the Imagination station materials was not great. We don't always do the curriculum as written, so there was a lot of waste. Wish we could go back to just buying what we want vs. being forces to buy all components”

“We've used Group for years and have always had a great experience. However, the music for Scuba failed to meet the high standard Group usually provides. We ended up using our own music instead. Everything else was great though. The teaching materials, decorations, etc are great! We also love the character introduction videos, as they are informative and entertaining! We would recommend that more quality control be put into practice when it comes to some of the science activities, as some of the parts are cheaply made and do not work as they should.”

“We found the curriculum to be easy to work with. Decorations were very time-consuming though. The music was ok, but it did not match the theme at all. The songs seemed random.”

“This was one of our favorite VBS themes. We loved the sticky scriptures, we loved the decor, we loved the lessons. We had one of our largest attendances! The only thing that we wish, is that the media, songs, videos would be on a drive like in the past. Other than that, this was a great one!”

“These are the things we loved about Scuba VBS: 1. The songs were fun and the kids loved them. 2. The decoration suggestions were really helpful. I really appreciate all the videos and how-to descriptions that are included. We used the suggestions for creating an arch, and a bunch of the sage decor. 3. I thought the games were fun this year and didn't require tons of prep. I LOVE fun and easy games. 4. The buddies and buddy videos are always a hit. 5. The opening skits are always fun. The kids love them. Some constructive comments: 1. We allow about 20 minutes per rotation, and so the snacks ideas that were provided were not exactly "snack-activities". We always have to plan our own snacks. 2. On a similar note as above, we don't have the budget to provide Group Imagination Station products. We do crafts instead and we have to create our own as Group does not provide those. 3. There is a LOT of the digital kit that we don't use and it can feel like we are not stewarding our money very well by the purchase of so many materials we don't use. We don't need the pre-K stuff. We don't use Imagination Station or Kid-Vid, and we would love to use the snacks, but the last few years have kind of left us wanting. We don't use the DVD's or CD's because we always purchase the digital options. We would love to be able to purchase the different components of the kit that work for us. I think if we were able to do that, then we might even be able to afford the Imagination Station Products or just have the ability to purchase more of what Group offers as an "add ons" to the starter kit.”

“We enjoyed it so much. I have used Group VBS for many years. I love the way it is organized. I liked the new Sticky Scripture as well. It was a nice additon. We didn't always have the time to dive into the scripture during our Bible Adventure time, so the Sticky Scripture allowed us to do that. The kids loved it! I also love that you have all the supplies we might need to decorate, download, etc. for our VBS right on your website.”

“I am very concerned that Group is getting so expensive. It’s disappointing that we spend 300 or more for a starter kit and it isn’t enough to actually do anything with. Needing to purchase all the additional curriculum booklets at almost $4. Apiece not to mention the Bible buddies, and science items. Our church does not charge the children to attend VBS. It is an out reach to our community. The cost is making us seriously consider into less expensive programs. On another note feel that the focus is shifting to decorations over biblical content some times it’s a stretch to connect the teaching with the theme.”
