“I love your VBS kits and we have used them forever. We struggle greatly with now only using a few things from the "can" as we have adapted our approach greatly. The can has gotten expensive for a church like us that only uses a few books out of it. We will be looking into alternatives next year - such as purchasing books one at a time to get just the stuff we need. Also - the digital content is awesome but we end up hardly using the paper content. We would love to spend $150-200 and get only digital copies of the director manual, games manual, skits, bible stories, and the music (and the music videos that have the words and kids dancing and doing hand motions). For us that would be a "classic" package and exactly what we use. We add a missions rotation, our own snacks rotation, and our own crafts rotation to that.”

“We enjoy the reliability of the VBS Tin that we receive svery spring! The skits are comical and the themes are exciting. And believe me, we enjoy the music and making the moves. However! It would be a great improvement to increase the size of the print on the slides. Not only do the teachers have trouble reading the words, luckily we study them before class...but the children struggle to see them, as well. I really didn't notice it was hard to read until the head honcho, our VBS director and the Pastor's lovely wife, pointed it out! Alas, would be much appreciated on all fronts to give us some larger words on the music videos! Otherwise, great job. Looking forward to True North!”

We appreciate your feedback about the size of the print on the slides. We understand how important it is for both teachers and children to be able to read the words clearly. We will definitely take your suggestion into consideration and work on increasing the size of the words on the music videos to enhance the experience for everyone.

“We enjoyed the new station "sticky scripture" instead of KidVid. The kids enjoyed getting to move and be interactive, and adults loved that kids were actually looking up verses in their Gospel of John bibles. We've got to continue getting kids into the actual bible. We also enjoyed that Imagination station had the gadgets for crews. There were so many advantages to this: the crews had to learn to work together to accomplish the task (super!), and that meant that each kid got to do the experiment hands-on, and we didn't have individual gadgets being sent home to just be thrown away a few days later. Theme was fine, though I was a little unsure how some of the stories made it into a "water theme." Music was overall fine, but it was lacking from previous years- no "popular" christian music this year was a let-down. We use VBS music to inspire us all year, and I don't feel like any of it was super memorable. The other part of the issue is that we didn't buy access to the music this year for each participant. I cannot justify to my people the $7 per download, even though I know artists deserve their pay. Music was one of the main reasons we chose GROUP years ago, so I'd like to see GROUP working on this somehow. Somehow getting a streaming channel for GROUP music would be nice, and perhaps a fee per church based on how many would access it? I don't know how it works, just putting some suggestions out there! Thanks!”

“I've been the director of our VBS for 6 years now and this has been my favorite year so far. Groups Easy VBS has always been our go-to curriculum, but this year they exceeded our expectations. The theme was so much fun! We had a blast decorating and getting into the theme with under the sea crew names. We also enjoyed the changes they made to imagination station and we LOVED the new sticky verse station so much! Having a station dedicated to helping the kids memorize scripture and dive into the word of God themselves was the perfect addition to an already amazing VBS format! The only thing I wish would have been different, is more under-the-water themed songs. We ended up switching quite a few of the songs with old songs from 2018 Shipwrecked VBS since we felt they better fit the theme. Other than that, everything was perfect.”
