“We've used Group VBS for many years. The music is great, but really only need about 8 songs. Themes and stories are great. We didn't like the change in the snack room so we made up our own snack ideas for them to create to go with the lessons/theme. We also just REALLY miss Chadder!!!! I had one of my young adult crew leaders come to me and ask "Why do we not have Chadder anymore?" Also, we used the group talk and loved it! But, we don't like the imagination station. We make crafts that are much cheaper but they can still experiment with them (this year we did fish flingers flingers, spin drum, fish bowl toss game, pop bottle whistle). Overall, we love how the themes stories and activities work together.”

“We are a small church that hosts a community-wide VBS using teen and adult volunteers from many different churches. We have used Group resources for 16 years and appreciate the creativity, interactive learning, meaningful songs and excellent resources. This year we had 48 children with 14 teens and 12 adults participating. We run a low budget operation so aren't able to get all the materials but consistenly get the kit, Bible Buddies, backdrop, Bible posters and theme posters. Each year seems better than the last.”

“We loved the new sticky scriptures that put more of a focus on the Bible itself and teaching the kids to use it. One suggestion I would make however is in the games leader manual. The name of the game is only on the first page with the supplies and set up. On the actual game page it is not listed.”

“Too many experiments in Imagination station. Loved the premise of sticky scripture but it skewed young. would love to see stand up cardboard buddies as an option to reduce cost and workload on our end. Otherwise it was super fun and engaging!”

“We have been using GROUP for many years. We have always had great experiences. Scuba was so fun and colorful! We loved getting to learn about how we can dive deep into friendship with God. The only thing we had to learn was the sticky scriptures and imagination station. While I love the idea of having kits for all crews, for people with bigger churches we can't afford to do that. That made it a little difficult. The same thing goes along with sticky scriptures as well. Overall we had an amazing experience and loved every second of SCUBA VBS!”

“We really liked how simple VBS was this year. We didn't have to order a ton of supplies like in the past, and not one kid asked if they could take anything home. I think the parents liked it as well. Not as much stuff to carry when checking out their kiddo! But the best part is that this VBS was full on content, and so many seeds were planted with these kids.”
