“Hometown Nazareth is a lot of work for a medium-sized church that has a hard time requiring people to help. This program is too long; we had to cut much of it out. The songs didn't seem as upbeat as in the past year.”

“Our church loved planning our vacation Bible School around this curriculum. The decorating was easy and fun and the lesson for each night was wonderful. The kids had a great time and didn't want to leave. Having said that, unfortunately our VBS had to be cancelled after one night due to a covid outbreak :( One night with these children was better than nothing. The only complaint that I have about this curriculum is the student books. We are used to a more traditional booklet for the kids to read and study and take home with them.”

“We have been doing VBS every summer for over 20yrs and this was one of our favorites. We loved the slightly different format with hometown huddles and the marketplace. It worked better than we expected. The kids had fun learning about Jesus in a biblical setting.”

“We love doing the HolyLand Adventure VBS programs! We love being able to go back in time with the Biblical theme, wearing Bible costumes, and having good memories to reference throughout the rest of the year. "Remember when you were in the tribe of Judah? That was the same tribe Jesus' family was from." Kids really enjoy the freshly baked bread we have for snack each day - a great highlight from year to year. Please continue to create HolyLand VBS programs - they are a staple of the year, regardless of whether it's Old or New Testament. It feels like it's been a really long time since there was Galilee-By-the-Sea (maybe 2006 or 2007?).”
