“These are really comfy, lovely wellies. Great grip, even on ice and warm too. They were the best wellies I'd ever worn until unfortunately, the pair I bought split along the side where they flex at the big toe joint after only a few months, on both boots.
Reviews of other wellies seem to show similar problems. Perhaps I was expecting too much. But for the price, I'd expect them to at least last a whole winter”

“Excellent wellies for walking. Can be cinched in using the strap so they don’t flap against your legs. Shaped (but not tight) around the ankle and seem slightly lower than other wellies over the bridge of the foot, which makes them more comfortable for walking. Heel kicker makes them easy to take off. Deep cushioning pad under heel in (removable) insole dampens impact; you can walk for miles in them and not feel fatigued. Neoprene lining makes them warm but not hot. The sole is fantastic: the feeling underfoot approaches that of a good walking boot and the grip is outstanding. Two things to note: (1) they run large: I recommend ordering your usual size rather than sizing up; I found my usual size to be plenty big enough even with a couple of pairs of socks on; (2) at about 3lbs per boot they’re heavy, but I found I quickly got used to this. The best thing I can say about them is that I simply forget I’m wearing them. I wholeheartedly recommend these boots, and I also recommend buying from Hollands Country Clothing.”
