“The board is an excellent size and there is room with the pieces inside the box to also add draughts pieces, so that's fantastic. The chess set is very lightweight and feels a bit cheap, but not catastrophically cheap. It's all real wood as far as I can tell, but it was probably made in a Chinese factory nevertheless. If you've been looking for a chess set and have been wondering why they're all so ridiculously expensive, go with this one - it's good enough, but you will absolutely sense that it could be a lot better. Also, there are places to put the pieces back in the box (just small elastic strips), but you can't put the pieces back in the box without lifting up the board midgame. I don't know what the solution is for this.”
