About Jaques of London:
In 1795 Thomas Jaques took on his 15-year-old son, John as an apprentice. Together they established ‘Thomas Jaques: Manufacturer of Ivory, Hardwoods, Bone and Tunbridge Ware’ in Hatton Garden. We have remained a family run business ever since, with the same unwavering passion for quality games and toys.

Today we are ever-expanding our toy range and have been honoured with over 10 awards in the past five years as a result. Our Mini Minds Hub launched in 2020 to encourage learning at home. This is now stocked with over 150 free resources. We’ve been working for over 230 years to fill the world with more joy and we hope to keep striving for that goal long into the future. “Brought as a gift for our Grandaughter who has spend hours with us playing ours. Its so beautiful wrapped. The tiles etc are bigger than ours which is ideal for her plus unlike us she has title trays. This is diffently a keepsake as well as a gift. Thank you”

“Lovely tiles and great item. Slightly disappointed with the tile holders as the material they were covered in was loose on all of them so the tiles didn’t sit smoothly. Would have been better to have just been plain wood rather than covered in the mock leather. But still a lovely set. Now I just need to learn how to play!!”
