About Jaques of London:

About Jaques of London:
In 1795 Thomas Jaques took on his 15-year-old son, John as an apprentice. Together they established ‘Thomas Jaques: Manufacturer of Ivory, Hardwoods, Bone and Tunbridge Ware’ in Hatton Garden. We have remained a family run business ever since, with the same unwavering passion for quality games and toys.

Today we are ever-expanding our toy range and have been honoured with over 10 awards in the past five years as a result. Our Mini Minds Hub launched in 2020 to encourage learning at home. This is now stocked with over 150 free resources. We’ve been working for over 230 years to fill the world with more joy and we hope to keep striving for that goal long into the future. Why not come along for the trip with us!

Bought for a Christmas present so obviously not been used yet but they look good & strong so hopefully will be very acceptable by the recipient

They remind me of the long lost hoops that we had during my childhood - Much easier to knock into the ground than my heavier set and slightly easier to set them wider for those young children learning how to beat their grandmother - a great basis for a good family game

They seem strong. Would have been nice if they came in a bag, especially as they seem expensive for what you get. They are not as bright white as they seem in the photo.

These hoops are very light weight and are easy to bend.

Exactly what we needed to replace some "cheap and nasty" ones that had more or less rusted away. Well made and look as though they will last a good few years.
