“I have already had two of the original bagatelle games as I grew up playing this game when it had the original wooden baton as opposed to the modern spring loaded one. I was very shocked disappointed that this new version is so much smaller. It is a Xmas present. Obviously I checked and dimensions were given but as it stated based on original I assumed it would be the same size. I’ve waited for you to email me when it came back into stock, which you did and of course I ordered but VERY disappointed”
“Disappointed ! Although beautifully made the game does not play as well as it looks. The ball dynamics are poor, the balls spending most of the time dropping to the left side of the board. Balls rarely ping across to the scoring cages however you try. As delivered the spring tension in the launcher is too high. Releasing the knob to reduce spring tension results in the launch bolt thread wearing its woodden bearing tube. Either the pins are too thick or the balls are not large enough to cause any useful bounce.”
“I like the quality but the SPRING is too strong, so that for me only a very small pull is possible and that produces powerful shot. A gentler spring would enable more control. Any suggestions?”
