About Jaques of London:
In 1795 Thomas Jaques took on his 15-year-old son, John as an apprentice. Together they established ‘Thomas Jaques: Manufacturer of Ivory, Hardwoods, Bone and Tunbridge Ware’ in Hatton Garden. We have remained a family run business ever since, with the same unwavering passion for quality games and toys.

Today we are ever-expanding our toy range and have been honoured with over 10 awards in the past five years as a result. Our Mini Minds Hub launched in 2020 to encourage learning at home. This is now stocked with over 150 free resources. We’ve been working for over 230 years to fill the world with more joy and we hope to keep striving for that goal long into the future. “Came in terrible condition. Paint chipped and removed on 90% of blocks. Wood splintered. Probably unsafe to play with”

“Overall good product, but a number of the blocks have turned up stuck together and some have paint damage from where they have obviously been pulled apart prior to arrival. A bit of a disappointment for an otherwise great value and well presented product.”

“Great fun and endless possibilities for play but poor paint quality lets this down. Many bricks stuck together and then have missing or different paint colours on them. Customer service was extremely prompt at apologising and refunding about this quality control issue.”
