“After borrowing some Maxtrax Recovery Tracks to get "un-stuck" my wife bought me some for my birthday. I needed to work out a solution to mount them to my Toyota roof bars. I was getting ready to fabricate something myself when a Google picture search lead me to KAON. I wanted something that I could adapt to use some 35mm stainless steet u-bolts and the KAON Flush Flat mounts looked perfect. I enlarged of the existing holes to 10mm and drilled a 6mm hole to suit my u-bolts (I probably voided my warranty), some nylon 10mm nylon tubing (6mm I.D.) completed the job. I now have a simple but strong mounting solution for my new Maxtrax, thanks KAON for making a mount that can be adapted easily.”
