“Based on online research and talking to local diesel professionals the 7mm EGR plate is the best solution for the 1KD. So it's reassuring that Kaon will back that up by putting their name on this product. So far the Hilux seems to be performing without issue and I have the peace of mind that having cleaned the EGR valve and cooler and the intake manifold it's not going to coke back up with carbon and oil and should function better and for longer than it otherwise would have.”
“My suggestion is that you slot the bolt holes to enable easier installation with less dismantling required. We slot the holes as a matter of course and have done so many many times without creating any issues”
“Well this 1 is a bit of a mission!! Took me around 3 and a half hours to do the job including cleaning the EGR valve and charge piping ETC. Overall fantastic result, my 150 feels much smoother to drive with better pick up on acceleration!!
