“This is a must for any 1GD engine. I purchased one for my 2.8 1GD-FTV powered N80 Hilux. Difference was night and day, the motor on this ute has woken up and really wants to go. It idles and accelerates smoother, and the butt-dyno tells me that acceleration is much, much stronger. Also, more smoke out the tailpipe, which is always fun. The build quality for this plate was spot on, you can really feel they put a lot of thought into designing and manufacture.”

“Great quality plate and well thought out. But a bugger to fit as the 2 Toyota retaining nuts are extremely tight and difficult to loosen. I almost gave up but with some help from a friend and several attempts the nuts were loosened and the reducer plate fitted. This is not the fault of the Kaon reducer, it the Toyota tight nuts. The nuts needed to be replaced. The Prado now runs smoother and quieter but does take much longer to warm-up. Worth the skinned knuckles and the bad language from the garage.”
