“I made a last minute decision to purchase this barrier and shelf . The team expedited my order and put it on a courier and i got it with in a few days in time to fit it for my trip :D fits great and looks fantastic. I wish there were brackets you could purchase to fit the shelf at a couple of distances but just my personal preference. Am looking at getting a second shelf to suit my needs better :) would be great to get more accessories for my fj cruiser . Great company product and service :) thanks”

“I bought this Barrier to ‘try’ and keep our 30kg Staffy in the Back of the FJ. He has destroyed 3 x conventional pet barriers (that rely on pressure fitting to the roof liner) through determination to be in the front seat. The Kaon Barrier is both securely bolted in place and is of sufficient steel strength to mean escape is impossible. The shelf is a super handy addition to keep gear out of the way. My FJ was imported from Japan with no rear headrests which the Kaon Barrier depends on. At the moment I am using 6 x M10 bolts inserted into the headrest inserts. This works fine at the moment with no rattles, but a better solution would be 12mm non threaded bolts/ inserts with EPDM washers to minimise rattles. It could be a good addition to the catalogue”
“it is a great piece of kit. looks good in the fj
only issue I had was putting the parcel shelf on. I kept getting the mounting brackets on the wrong way around again and again.
an improved pic on the instructions would help when we are having a "slow day"
also love the nutserts but it could have helped to have cage nuts on the back of the shelf for mounting to the barrier.. it was a bit of a pain reaching through to hold everything in place
