“I don’t often send feedback on products however I just wanted to say thanks.
I bought the rear view camera bracket for my prado after buying a rear wheel bag and stupidly failing to take into account the fact my camera would be blocked.
I watched your installation video and even for a mechanical muppet like me it was an easy install.
So, thanks.”
“Just the item I was looking for. The instructional video with this is one of the easiest to follow videos I’ve seen and as a result had no issues installing the bracket. Great product and wish I found this company sooner”
“Nicely made and engineered product , easy to fit ( watch the little video) . I have the kaymar real wheel mount so needed to cut a small notch in it so wire for camera was long enough . Great supporting a true Aussie company .”
“Excellent quality and looks good with the satin black finish.
Fits really well, but if you have bigger tyres (I have BFGoodrich KO2 265/70R17), you definitely need some sort of wheel spacer. See the KS0348 spacer that KAON sells - I have two of these for a total of 12 mm offset. I reckon two is probably required for these tyres, but it is hard to say for sure as my tyres are 50% worn, so a single spacer does do the job with these worn tyres. I'll know for sure when I get new tyres.
I previously had a "Kaymar Wheel on door bracket" that I used as a wheel spacer, but note that with this spacer the camera cable is not long enough to reach around the bracket to the repositioned camera.
Of course the guidance lines on the video display are now not accurate, and it takes a little to get used to. But, it is still worth it to have a reverse camera with a wheel bag on.
Thanks KAON!”
“Beautifully designed and fabricated product.
Fitting was easy. I have an aftermarket camera and it did not fit the original foot print. But a little work with the dermal tool and all is great.
Highly recommend anyone with a Prado to get one.”
