“We had tried the brckets that came with our 270 awning and we had hinge sag at both ends but particularlay the front. We decided to go for overkill and use 4 of these adjustable brackets. We did this because there really isn't a long enough roof rack on the market to take the weight over the span of the awning. We had bought the largest which is 2.2m long. Also it is fairly cumbersome having to mount the awning then take it off and permanently secure the awning with the cover on. Surprisingly it wasn't too difficult to line up the bolts and secure the awning to the rack. The new bolts are amazing and one of the best inventions we've seen lately. Our rack doesn't have a wide bit at the end so we can't use T-bolts. I wish Kaon made fishing rod racks in a similar style to rhino lockable ones - that suit a platform rack.”

“Solid unit - much better than the standard bracket that came with my 270 awning. Having this bracket with 3 brackets (rather than the two that came with mine) puts my mind at ease. I have a series 6 rhino platform on my 150 series prado and it works a treat.
The bracket also provides the ability to alter the height of the awning mount position which was a bonus for me to enable the clearing of the back swinging door. The install is definitely a two person job.
Only done beach driving so far and light trails, but so far so good.”

“I am definitely disappointed that this product does not come with the additional hardware necessary to mount to the specific Rhino Rack platform it's built for. Honestly, if you're buying the Rhino Rack and an awning, money is not likely the issue but rather the inconveniece of having to go figure out what and how many nuts, bolts and washers you need to mount these. Of course I didn't realize I was missing hardware until I had everything unpacked and all the lads over to help me install. Again, the additional hardware is not even $20 USD, it's just the principal of providing them with a premium product like this.
Having said all that - I'm glad I found these mounts. I feel much better about having these support my Overland Pro Wraptor 6k awning rather than the default mounts provided. They are sleek, flexible and easy to put together. Not to mention, coming from Australia they arrived in a reasonable amount of time.”

“I have a rhino 270 deg awning on a short platform rack on my cruiser, with rhino brackets, these brackets erte good nicely constucted, but still allowed still allowed the awning to flex andoveorr than I liked, I changed to the Kaon brackets and what a difference night and day, no movement at all.
Very well constructed and muchore bracing where it is needed.
Extremely happy with the result”
