“Very solid feeling brackets. Easy to attach to the ARB base rack. Feels very secure once mounted. Some minor issues I found when using it with the Kings 270 freestanding awning on a 2021 Ford Ranger:
1. You can't comply with the recommended maximum spacing of bracket (as in the Kings install instructions/manual) from the rear hinge (at least not on a 21 Ford Ranger) due to how the bracket attaches to the rack and the actual spacing of the rack cross bars.
2. The bigger bottom m8 bolt on the bracket plate/face is near impossible to do up on the car due to the amount of room in between car and awning (this will depend on how high you have the awning). I ended up fixing the main part of the bracket to the car and fixing the bracket plate to the awning and then lifting it and fixing the awning and plate to the brackets via the smaller side bolts as opposed to the bigger bolts.
3. On my Ford Ranger I had to move the awning even further back as the awning arm wasn't clearing the back brake light wing. Not a big issue but exacerbates point 1.
All in all, I would definitely recommend. It is pricey for three brackets but you get what you pay for.”
