“Purchased these brackets after ARB told me they did not keep larger brackets for 270deg awnings as a stock item. They say you get what you pay for and these brackets are bloody brilliant and really well made. They were delivered in a really fast time (3 days) and were packaged well. They are easy to install and super strong with no issues at all being encountered across my travels since installing them.
I highly recommend these brackets and they are far superior to what ARB offers.”

“These are great, strong and robust and adjustable. Easy to install , only thing I could suggest is to try and them a quick release just to make taking the awning off even easier when it’s not in use. They fit perfect to my arb base rack and held my big bushwakka 270 awning with ease and no flex when it was opened up, highly recommend.”

“Recently purchased a 270 awning from The Bush Company and was wondering how I would mount it to my ARB base rack as the 270 awning mounts from ARB only support 25kg and the awning weighs 27kg and the mounts supplied with the awning would not have fitted under the carport. A short time later I had an email from KAON advertising these lil beauties and they solved all my problems, Super easy to fit and remove and height adjustable the new awning is solid as a rock and fits easily under the 2.12 metre carport.”
“Great strong brackets. The intended positioning of the brackets with the two forward facing brackets to be mounted at the front doesnt really work when the awning (quick pitch awning) has the first
set of holes predrilled into the hinge section for maximum strength. I had to put the forward facing brackets towards the rear of the rack to try and maximise the support as you lose the width of the planks running across the car, it also allows you to position the rear facing bracket at the front an extra plank forwards.
All in all a great product and very happy with them and i appreciate they are universal brackets and trying to get them to suit every awning would be tricky. I very nearly bought a bracket that wraps around the side and rear of the rack which would allow me to set the awning back a fraction more but the alignment for the front 2 brackets wouldn’t necessarily line up….”
