“The rear shelf is a great utility and can hold a lot of smaller or flat items that would otherwise clutter up the boot space or be difficult to find. The only downside is that part of the installation where the holding nuts are fitted to replace the Toyota grab handles is somewhat tricky. Someone clever might come up with an easier way to do this. I found that putting some blu-tack behind the nut when inserting the plastic holder makes it a lot easier. Apart from that, a really practical unit for travelling, camping and everyday use.”
“I bought one of these for my Pajero and it’s great. I store my solar blanket up there and Companion lithium 70a/h portable battery. Keeps them up high so they don’t get damaged. Great for pillows too so they don’t get dirty. I’m about to sell the Pajero and take delivery of a new Fortuner. A replacement shelf is the first thing im organising I wouldn’t go without one now. As other reviewers have stated, it’s a quality Aussie made product which I love.”
