Purchased the FJ cruiser recovery points and they are a very clever design. Reasonable price even with the shipping to Canada.

Hello, from Southern California, USA. Yes, it goes for the Lexus GX 460. My experience is very similar to the previous reviewer Ryan and his 4Runner. Likewise, I was not impressed by most recovery point offerings in the North American market. I stumbled on this excellent product, watched related YouTube videos, visually confirmed the frame holes for compatibility and pulled the trigger. Shipping was surprisingly swift, about 1 week. I recommend starting on the passenger side as it is fairly easy and will provide a baseline of what to expect on the driver side. For the passenger side, I did not have to jack the car or take the front right wheel off, just turn full right to provide working room. As an install tip, especially if you're doing this DIY solo as myself, secure the 2 washers on the side of the frame with painters tape. Obviously take the tape off once you get the threads started. The driver side install was slightly more challenging. I had to jack up the drivers side and remove the front left wheel. Like Ryan's 4Runner, my GX is also equipped with KDSS and has the same associated system mounting bracket on the driver's side. It slightly covers the access hole to provide manipulation of the nut wire (nut on a stick). Yes, these are hard lines at high psi but don't be intimidated. I only had to dissemble 2 screws, 1 screw attached directly to the bracket with the frame and another within the bracket, I wish I could attach a picture to illustrate. This provided enough wiggle room to get the nut (on a stick) in the frame hole and manipulate into position. Once I confirmed this was okay, the rest of the install was a walk in the park. Fitment is perfect and snug. This bolt on product (non permanent) is very high quality and in my opinion, justifies the higher price. It is proper and provides me peace of mind well worth the cost. Once you see it first hand, you can tell it is an excellent piece of engineering. Thank you KAON team!

Hello from the USA. As the driver of a 2023 Toyota 4Runner, I found myself underwhelmed by most of the recovery point offerings in the North American market. I stumbled upon this product while cross-referencing other Prado-based platforms. I was impressed by the engineering and attention to detail I saw demonstrated in your product YouTube videos and decided there was no reason it could not be applied to my 4Runner. After determining that the factory tie-down points and applicable frame bolt holes seemed identical, I ordered a pair of your excellent recovery points. Ordering and shipping were simple - and surprisingly fast given the distance travelled and that I ordered them during the Christmas holiday (shipped on 28 Dec and already installed by 5 Jan!). The product was well-packaged and there was no damage to the contents. Installation went exactly as demonstrated in your video - well, almost. My 4Runner has the KDSS installed and an associated system bracket on the driver's side required loosening to facilitate access and manipulation of the nut wire (nut on a stick). After that was sorted, there were no issues and the passenger side took about 15 minutes. I am very pleased with the fit and finish of this product, and while I hope they are never put to a real test, I am confident they will handle whatever trouble I get into. Well done and highly recommended for those of us in the NA market driving 5th Generation 4Runners - you might consider adding that to your list of supported vehicles if you have or do receive similar feedback in the future (barring any legal wrinkles). Even with shipping, I found the pricing reasonable for a quality product that requires no permanent alterations to install. Cheers to the KAON team!

Was quite hesitant to purchase since a bit expensive but when they showed a video of SUV recovered using the cheap recovery points(which i was about to purchase) and was twisted, i just thought i rather paid a good amount rather get my cruiser damage during recovery. Got my item within a week(New Zealand). Well packaged, complete with everything needed to install. Comes with simple instruction manual with separate instructions for Prado150 and Fj. Sure they're almost the same but with few differences that need to be noted. I definitely recommend kaon recovery points for Fj and Prado. You wont be mistaken for using there product. Will tagged Kaon on my instagram and youtube soon. !

It’s even easier to install with an Xrox bar because I didn’t have to trim the washer bottle. Very sturdy and well built. The colour is closer to maroon, almost purple from an angle, and looks nice. Instructions were spot on and I can’t wait to put them to the test.
