“i have been looking long and hard for a Maxtrax solution for my Aero roof racks. I did not want to install a large roof platform, and was looking for a simple fix. Came across the Folding Maxtax Board, i asked a few questions online, then met the team at the Melbourne Camping, purchased it the next day, and yes it was easy to install, and very practical.”

“I live in the city and daily drive my car and was looking for a solution that would allow me to temporarily remove the Maxtrax if needed. This mounting board was perfect and could be adapted for my application. I am not using crossbars, but the mounting board gave the rigidity I needed to safely mount the maxtrax to my rack. Beautifully made product!”

“This product fills the gap left by the two most popular recovery board and popular cross bar manufacturers, namely how to simply mount your recovery board securely if you only have cross bars on your vehicle. The mounting board is well designed with plenty of mounting slots and powdered coated for durability. It can be purchased with or without mounting pins which is handy if you already have mounting pins for your recovery boards. It took me 15-20 mins to mount and secure to the vehicle plus time to add the pins and secure the boards in place. A great solution for a problem.”
