“I found out about this product after browsing YouTube for inspiration on accessories for my FrontRunner Slimline II rack on my Hummer H3. The Frontrunner mount and metal table were more than double the price which is borderline criminal for a folding table setup. KAON is a simple, clean setup that bolts right up to the underside of my rack. In the USA the best table I found which fits snug and exact is the COSCO Grey 4ft x 2ft folding table from Lowes. My only wish would be for KAON to distribute in the USA and produce a longer 6ft version because we have the tables readily available on the market and I have tons of space lengthwise under my rack. Also would love to see a black version to match the rack, but a bit of paint can fix that. Overall 5/5 stars, great product for optimizing otherwise useless space.”
“Table mount is a great idea, I painted outside visible components and brackets in satin black and it is hardly visible on the platform rack. Also installed it on the ground with new platform rack so it was easier than installing on an existing mounted platform. A 5ft version would be perfect!”
“Great Australian made product, fitted it to my Rhino Pioneer backbone rack on my Y61 Patrol. This was done without assistance, no spacers required, it was incredibly easy and took me no more than 30 minutes. The table from Bunnings fits snug however I cannot comment on any rattles or the like yet until I have done a couple of trips.”
“I was lucky enough to get my hands on an early version and put it to the test on a Victorian high country trip. Being able to access the table quickly and without having to unload a bunch of other gear was great for lunch stops and east setups at camp. The fit is great for the recommended table and didn’t make any extra noise whilst travelling. I fitted the slide to my rhino rack on a s1 gu patrol, fitting was straight forward but I’d recommend a second set of hands to hold the bracket up. To ensure sufficient roof clearance I added a spacer to my rack which was well worth the effort and little extra cost.
I wouldn’t hesitate to purchase this product again and I’ve already recommended it to quite a few of my mates”
