“Quality part and makes the fitting of the aerial so much easier and causes no damage or modification to one’s vehicle. I was sceptical in the beginning as I had no real knowledge of such well made after fittings for aerials in that area. Top stuff.”
“Sits quite low to the windscreen. Driving on corrugated roads would cause uhf antenna bolt to hit windscreen due to flex and vibrations. Standard GME short thick aerial.
Friend has identical car and he bought a bracket from Autobarn which sits a bit higher and away from windscreen (better designed and same thickness). I will be replacing Kaon bracket with Autobarn one. I guess $60+ vasted ... or very expensive paper weight for me.”
