“Shims do a great job of re-aligning door latch (I used the 2 supplied on my 2005 Prado 120) and re-aligned perfectly. 2 person job to install - afternoon losening lower hinge on door side need 2nd person to lift weight of door off lower hinge to create space to slide shims in.
Door stopper is also an excellent fit on 2005 Prado 120 (contrary to some reviews for that product). My tips:
1. ensure door is correctly aligned with latch by installing shims before installing stopper
2. be sure the insert the prongs of the guide into the slots in KAON stopper as shown in the KAON video (this bit is different to the Toyota stopper you removed) and ensure pushed in to seat properly
3. I found that the new TPU rubber material was a bit 'grippy' on the male part stopper assembly on the door frame but a small wipe of INOX made it smooth as.
Fit and operation of the door is now 'as new'.
