Not overly happy with door catch upgrade. Was harder to close the door so ended up putting back to factory

Hi Jason, We're sorry to hear that you had an issue with your door catch upgrade. It's design will add resistance to the door, but you should still be able to close it. Please feel free to reach out to our service team via info@kaon.com.au and they can assist you if you would like to facilitate a return. Thanks, Emma – KAON

Fitted new block and shimmed bottom hinge to align wedge with centre of block. Fantastic result eliminating door rattle.

The delivery of kit was fast. I tried fitting the rubber fitting but then could open the door from the outside on my 120 series. So had to push door out from inside. So I replaced the new rubber with the old one which still works fine. But I have the hinge extender if I need it. Thank you. Very happy otherwise.

The spacer shims work great, but I couldn't get the soft plastic/rubber door stopper to fit my 120 Prado. Thankfully I didn't actually need a new stopper, I just got the bundle I case I might need it later. And I'm sure if I ever need one I can just shave a bit off the door stopper using a knife and it'll fit.
