“The one we had did not perform like the video. Did not have enough heat to cook steak which had been out of fridge (not freezer) for about an hour. We waited for it to get up to temperature before placing 3 small pieces of steak on BBQ. It just boiled, no searing or browning. Disappointing, we returned it.”
“Not fit for purpose, doesn’t get hot enough, only 2/3 of hot plate gets hot which is already small. I can hold my fingers on outside edges when its supposed to be up to temperature, stewed my chops.

Product was a little let down. Cleans easy. Good price. Neat little unit and bag. But hey it does not produce the heat. Took 35mins to cook a medium rare steak. See pics.
Had it running on highest setting 240 degrees. Does not hit/draw 600 W. Wattage kept fluctuating between 200-500 watts but wouldn't maintain consistent heat. Mostly stayed in the 200 range
Had brand new 2000W inverter, brought from you guys and brand new lithium battery. Not sure why it didn't work as expected. Appreciate if you could look into it.

“I purchased the new KickAss 608w hot plate for a trip up the WA coast, I often run gas but the wind and time setting up is an issue. Every time I wanted to cook breakfast, lunch or dinner the hot plate jumped to life heating up in around 2-3minutes and cooked bacon, steak , asparagus and eggs with ease. After cooling down it was a simple wipe clean then store away in the bag for next time. I’m running a 1000w inverter and had zero issues”
