Heats up to 240 degrees as stated but struggles to maintain temperature if cooking thick burgers or steak. Ours took nearly 30 minutes to cook home made burgers. Checked plate temperature with a digital thermometer. It ranged between 90 and 145 degrees.
However it cooks bacon, eggs and sausages very well at a high temperature.”
