“Because this unit is much larger than the one I replaced it can't be installed on the back of the folding solar panels so I've had to mount it remotely. Firstly so the house and auxiliary battery are charged when my camper is mounted on the vehicle and secondly so the house battery is maintained when the camper is in the shed. After a bit of modification to the wiring it does everything it's supposed to and so easy to check inputs. Having the solar array voltage, load voltage and percentage of charge is a real bonus, no more guess work here.”
