“This is my first MPPT Controller, other than the inbuilt MPPT in my Kickass Battery Box with the Projecta IDC 25 charger. A good thing with Solar set ups is that you can experiment at home to get to know the best set up, test the difference between PWM contollers and MPPT's. I still have an old 150 Watt Kickass folding panel, and the next Gen 300 Watt folding panel, the controller gets the best out of them. I recommend to all to watch the instructional video, as I found the manual doesn't cover the full function of the controller, but I was making some serious power within 5 minutes of watching it. Again Kick Ass has exceeded my expectations in quality, price, and delivery time.”

“I purchased this after buying an elcheapo unit of eBay which failed on set up.
I only wanted a unit I could keep 2 x Boat battery's charged when stored.as it turned out the process was easy as and even better I was able to pick up at JWL in eagle farm which was also easy.
The unit was packaged in plain car box and well protected inside.
The unit is quite substantial with a good heat sink at the rear .
Instilation and set up was a breeze due to very helpful videos showing step by step process.
All in all I'm very happy with my purchase and will look at other things I may or may not need in the future.
As there seems to be new stuff being added to the range all the time and keep up the good work on those videos, they are gold.
