“Don't believe the reviews about "toasty warm". They're not. Don't believe the claims about sleeping on top of them (like an electric blanket). The instructions are very clear - you must NOT sleep on them, but can only safely use them on top of all bedding, like a throw rug. They draw a fair bit of current too, so just as well I've now got a Lithium powered additional battery box, because my AGM doesn't have the juice. And on a cold night... they have a safety auto-off after only 45 minutes, so once the heat goes you're waking up cold.
Just as well we've got excellent sleeping bags fitted with additional fleece inners!”
