The unit itself is a nice looking toastie maker, but it is a bit limited on the size of the bread used. We had thick toast bread and it was too large for the unit in size & thickness. Next time we will cut the crusts off. The one metre length cord is a bit short, a 1.5 - 1.8 would be lots better, knowing that you would have to use slightly thicker cable and that would increase the price. But overall we are happy with the unit and even put a post on instagram.

it was a birthday present for my son. and he hasn't used it yet. it needs a 30 amp inline fuse fitted before use.something kickass should have done.

It's actually really well put together. Best off using slightly smaller slices of bread to get the size right and don't over do it on the fillings

Absolutely love this product. Able to make a quick snack out of our leftovers without the issue of making a fire to do it . Another kickass product from the crew at Kick ass

I wish it was deeper. I put 2 pieces of slice cheese in it. It was near impossible to clip the lid shut.

the jaffle maker is ok while on sale but i question RRP. fantastic concept and idea, however its a bit small and doesn't accept the more common lager slices of bread nicely. results in a fair amount of bread hanging out the side and also not a deep enough pocket to seal in cheese (my last attempt had cheese oozing out the sides into the cavity where the wire runs). the cable to the Anderson plug is also undersized, needs to be 10AWG or 5.3mm2 minimum rather than the 14AWG or 2.1mm2 i hope its just revision 1.0 and the next revision fixes these points.
