“When I was searching for a Projector I saw you can pay any money you want, really, and there are so many specs to be aware of and different layers of marketing fluff to wade through. I found the Kickass YouTube clip with Clayton (who I have since found out is the company owner) talking passionately about why he decided to choose each component in this package - he clearly knows his stuff and is compelling. I took the plunge and purchased the package. We use this to screen movies outdoors for our restaurant guests - it has been both faultless and flawless. Lots of people ask me about the set up and I am quick to sing the praises of KickAss. I'm about to order a second set up this week because this first one has helped us build to a point where we need another one.”
“Bang for buck, its a good deal, screen is well built and sturdy for an inflatable and gentle winds don't affect it. Projector is what you'd expect for the price, it works well but could be brighter, still works great for Footy in the backyard and kids movie night out bush. Sound and speaker is where it fails, while usable, its not good, we connected it to a large JBL portable speaker with the included AUX lead and it was so much better. Tripod is great and very sturdy, carry and storage bags are great, also good it can be set up as rear projection. Only some small inconveniences, takes awhile to pump it up with included hand pump, power leads & Aux leads could be longer, is a little difficult to deflate and pack into bag. but for the price its very good. If the projector was a bit better and leads a little longer it would be 5 stars.”
