“My battery was down to 4v after a camping trip and running my fridge and freezer after getting home. The battery charger had no issues getting the lithium back up to a good charge level. It wasn't low enough to need to activate the battery but that option is easy enough to activate that mode on the bench. It is noisy, but I did test the night time mode and it does turn off the fan. Love the fact that it comes with an anderson connector so it was easy to connect to my distribution box.”
“Good charger. It does the job and the Anderson adapter is a big plus for me. Just feels a bit cheaper than the Repco version, but performs just as well. LCD display is good. You have 10 seconds to choose the correct settings from plugging in, which isn’t ideal when using an extension chord.”
“worked fine topping up the new Lithium 120ah slimline battery, but when hooked up to my old AGM 120ah slimline battery over two nights with a rest though the day would only bring the battery up to stage 5? I plugged my Ctek 10 charger up to it and it brought it up to stage 7 & float, so that is all I have had experience with the Kickass charger so far, so that is all I can comment on.”
“Brilliant charger for the money. Charges my Wet/AGM/Lithium batteries up well. If you find that your charger gets stuck on stage 5 (absorption) for ages, it is a sign that your battery/s are on the way out.
