“Unfortunately will not recharge a dead battery. Need to connect dead battery to one with charge to "fool" the charger into starting the charging process. Then disconnect the battery with charge after a while to continue charging.
Also very important to note: I have attempted to charge 2 dead batteries within the first week of having the charger only to find that the safety feature to either trickle charge or completely stop charging DOES NOT WORK when the charging sealed battery starts to overheat and/or leak gas from its seals.
I expected more from this charger given this day and age.”
