Awesome fridge, quietly keeping our stuff cold 18 months now. Only problem is with the bluetooth app. If you need to reverse the lids, the left bin becomes right bin, and right bin becomes left bin. Would be great if you blokes could change the names to large bin and small bin.

So lets get the one star reduction out of the way straight up, The fridge usable size without baskets is 67ltr not 75 litres. (75ltr figure is including the bin partition) This actually made no difference to my purchase as I was restricted by the outside dimensions mostly and its still a perfect size for my needs. Fridge appears to be well made and I only had small issue with one of the lid closing clips that refused to keep its tension spring in place till I gave it a squeeze in the vice. All the power cables are top notch like all kickass stuff and also over specked for the job. Before making my purchase, I tied to find some real world power consumption figures but failed to find anything meaningful so listed below are some numbers that might be helpful to others. Note 1…. All tests were conducted with a 30 pack of cans (That were reduced by a few along the way) in one side and 8 x 1.25lt bottles of water in the other and swapped as needed (Freezing Test) Note 2…. The lids were not opened during the test cycles. (mostly) Note 3…. Tests were carried out on a shed floor (The shed has poor ventilation so holds day temps) Note 4… Kickass DC Watt meter was used for measurements and a temp sensor for fridge and abundant temps. Tests for +3c for both bins…. (This is what I will be it using mostly) 17c to 24c @ 24hr = .48 amps per Hr 20c to 32c @ 24hr = .78 amps per Hr 18c to 40c @ 24hr = 1.2 amps per Hr Test for +3c big bin & -15c small 20c to 38c @ 24hr 2.1 amps per Hr Test for Big bin only +3c 16c to 24c @ 24hr = .37 amps per Hr Test for small bin only +3c 18c to 30c @ 24hr =.52 amps per Hr Cheers Geoff

A couple of weeks ago I received my new freezer as a replacement for my Gen 1 unit that was not able to be repaired, 4 years into a 5 year warranty. There was no issue or drama from KickAss giving me a brand new unit for the one that was 4 years old, great warranty! The KickAss gear is seriously good, my slide on camper and LC79 fell on its side in the Simpson desert 2 years ago. It took us 12 hours over 2 days in 45 degree heat to drag it down the sand dune to a flat enough area to flip it back on its wheels. When I opened the door to the camper, the 75L fridge/freezer was still going after being on its side for 24 hours, that is some serious piece of kit! Thanks KickAss for a brilliant product and an awesome warranty that really works. Jim

Works great, better than my old one from another store which failed twice. Nice and clean lines , made of metal to last , easy to setup. Only tip..the cover goes on from the bottom up. Love it
