“The fridge freezer seems good value for money but both the cover and the app are disappointing.
I spent over an hour trying to set up the app with no success, so I had to phone them the next day.
I was told that there is two different apps (red and black). The black one is for the 75 litre. It would have been good to have been informed of this in the instructions and set up video.
I downloaded the black one and it worked.
All the app does is tell you the temps and settings and is not interactive. Therefore, I can't change the settings via my phone.
Because the control panel is on the bottom right corner of the fridge it is hard for me to manually use the control panel due to my setup in the Ute.
I previously had an Engles 80litre with the control panel mounted on top which was great.
Also, I have found when you manually change the fridge settings it does not automatically change the information on the app. I have to shut the app down and reopen it for it to show the updated settings.
The cover is very thin and needs to be bigger to completely cover the lids.
I have bought 3 kickass battery and solar packs, awnings and many other accessories from them and they have been great value for money so I was a little underwhelmed by this product.
I'm going away for a month so will be interested to see how the fridge compares to my two Engles.”
“I bought the 75L fridge after doing a lot of research and reading 100's of reviews.
I can say that after owning it for 6 months it hasn't missed a beat.
I received it a day (super fast delivery too) before getting covid so I took it upstairs to my bedroom, filled it up and sat in my room for 7 days. It was superb.
I've since installed it in my 4WD and fixed a solar panel to the roof. When the car is not in use it runs off the solar.
I'm running both bins at 2 deg and they stay within 1 or 2 degrees.
The slide works perfectly and I'm really impressed with the combo deal.
I have contacted tech support on one occasion to help setup the wifi and they were excellent.
I've recommended KA products to my 4WD club and several members have bought various items.
Love these products and can throughly recommend the company and products.

“The frig worked great for us on our 28 day trip around the Flinders Ranges. It was our first freezer so we were always able to have meat for more than a few days and making ice of night for the next days sundowners was a bonus.
The only downer was the Anderson plug on the frig and it's connecting cord would unplug or disconnect on dirt road corrugations, managed to cable tie the 2 plugs together to solve the problem but that was a bit disapointing for a new frig”
