“Water unit looks great , I couldn't find hose to fit 9.5 mm hose barb in on the 6l pump would be great if a standard 12mm drinking water hose would fit straight on there must be a better way but I had to use adapter on adapter big pain in the butt”
“I shifted into a 1 bedroom flat in Feb 2021. The hot water system that was there when I moved in had many issues from the beginning and only allowed me to take 2.5 minute showers. The landlord refused to do anything to fix the problem because it was gonna cost them money, so I did a bit of research and settled to buy the KICKASS Instant Water Heater and it was by far the best decision I ever made! I mounted it INSIDE just under the bathroom window and got a flexible metal duct from Bunnings to vent the fumes to the fan to take them outside. 8.5kg gas bottle sits on the ground beside the toilet. Endless hot showers and no need to worry about when the hot water runs out because it doesn't. I upstaged my existing shower head to a $25 one also from Bunnings that has smaller holes in the shower head to allow for more water pressure. Then I just plumbed the hot water from the heater unit into the shower head with a Y splitter and added a tap to turn the water on and off from in the shower. Best $200 I've ever spent and it's a nice quality unit that will last for years if you take care of it. 150% recommend to anyone who is considering purchasing this product! Only thing that I changed was the shower head to give more pressure. Thanks Australian Direct!!!!!!
FYI: I know it's not meant to be used indoors but the fan in my bathroom does an extremely good job at removing the toxic gases and not once have I ever smelled anything out of the ordinary fume-wise. Don't mind my kitty in the photo... lol”
