“It seems to do what it promises and the remote screen is handy if you want to hide the inverter somewhere else. It seems to do what is promised and runs the loads I've thrown at it no problem (primarily tool battery chargers).
The only annoying thing is the fan! It turns on under quite a small load (anything over 200watts from memory). And while it is not super loud or annoying, it doesn't seem to ramp up or down depending on actual temperature, just going over that load threshold. I guess it was cheaper to implement cooling this way, rather than having actual temperature sensors. A little disappointing, when I'd expect a Kickass product to be a little more polished.”
“Good product so far and easy to fit once you find a wire to connect to ign on.
Would have liked the option of solar priority for charging though. But I guess if I'm not traveling in car solar will kick in when needed.”
