“Bought this solar panel with my 120ah lithium battery box, lucky, because I forgot to add an AC charger to the cart before I clicked checkout so it’s been running purely on solar since day one.
It was well packaged on delivery and I was pleasantly surprised to find that it produced the amps it’s said on box, being around 10.5A, when directed at the sun with no cloud cover. Max spike in amperage I got was 11.3.
Real world amperage is between 6-8A on a clear day depending on the position of the sun while it is mounted on the roof of my dogbox, on the back of the Ute. Even on cloudy days, as long as they’re not heavy rain clouds, it’ll still put in a couple amps.
It’s kept my battery topped up for a few weeks now while running the fridge on the Ute, I haven’t even bothered wiring the battery up to the Ute yet (I’ll get around to it)”
