“I looked around at a lot of different portable solar options, one the was light, easy to setup and pack away, and was going to charge my small setup even when it's a little overcast.
I have limited experience at solar and camping to be honest and found this kickass setup to be the most versatile, compact and easy to use and setup with the product videos, even for my limited experience.
It kept my 120ah lithium battery charger at full capacity for 5 days. As I was testing it out I literately ran it every day. I was able to run my 75ltr fridge, solar lights, recharge phones and iPads even with 2 days of overcast conditions.
Very happy with this setup. Yes there are cheaper options on the market but you get what you buy for..”
“I've owned a few panels and these are by far the best and at a great price. Super lightweight, easy to use and their output is as good as much more expensive units. Highly recommend these ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐”
“Earlier in the year we travelled with friends who had a 150W Kick Ass panel. I liked it as it was light, thin, had a nice in-line read out displaying the output amps. Moreover it had superior performance in semi-cloud, semi-shade to my then panels.
I resolved to go the KA route. The 150 I wanted wasn't available and to my regret I should have stopped there.
The 200W is heavy. The frame collects dirt and rocks in the channels that is hard to remove.. it is not super thin, because of the channels. I was forced to buy the controller that I'll never use because my vehicle and camper have their own. It does not have the amp read out.
I would swap it for one of your 150W panels tomorrow.
As it is I'll start looking for a better product and sell the 200W most likely in a garage sale.”
“These are a brilliant bit of kit and are so light weight and easy to set up and pack up. Tried these over a full weekend out the front of my house on a mainly sunny but partly cloudy day and early morning say around 7:00 till around 11:00 I was getting about 10.5Amps, mid day with sun straight above me, about 2.5 - 3.0Amps then late arvo around 6.0 - 7.0Amps. This kept my 100ah battery topped up and ready to run my 75ltr fridge over night and did so easily. Set up solar in the morning and had absolutely no probs topping battery up quickly in the morning. Ran with MPPT 20A regulator. Perfect. Cheers.”
