“This well built pump kit is simply amazing. Very intuitive to use, but always read the instructions.
Comes all ready to use (it even had residual water in the pump! haha!).
The pump and mesh pre filter come housed in a robust case that can probably handle using it as a step stool (not really recommended!). It also has a gasket on the lid to make it weather resistant. The electrical connections are done very well and the whole package is pretty impressive, they really thought this out using input from actual users (it shows!).
I power it with my portable solar generator (not a Kickass product- I know, I know....but I already had it...) and had to make a power cable for it to be able to use the 12v cig plug on my power supply....no biggie but I had to wait for parts...Anderson connectors are definitely the way to go but what can you do? I wish the industry would standardize these things.
The pump is very powerful and delivers what it advertises (I tested it!) in terms of volume and flow. Lots of good pressure to do practically anything you can with a regular hose at home, pretty much.
Very impressed and happy with this pump kit.
Some things that could be added/improved:
-Sealing caps to the in/out hose adapters so as not to make a mess when storing (I made some, but it'd be nice if the kit came with some).
-A hose kit (sold separately, of course) that allows anyone to use it as they like (I also made mine in order to use it not just with my hot shower kit).
All in all, this is a robust and capable kit that won't disappoint. Highly recommend! Looking forward to many years of use. It definitely Kicks A$$!!”
