“Second VX deck, second C-Lock deck. Board shape really suits me and the VX weight difference is more noticeable now after a year of riding them, switching back to a standard deck for a back-up set up I felt how quick the spring went out of a standard ply compared to the VX which I bashed daily for months with little drop off in pop. Takes longer to razor tail too...or maybe I'm just not dragging as much, dunno. Anyway I'm keen to see if this deck holds up as long as its predecessor, if so I'll drop the extra next time for the VX Slick and I can do away with the added bulk of running rails.”
