Stoked you guys stocked this, as I would have been unaware of it's existence, as I'm a big fan of Jim's art...he's "the man"!
I actually bought this as an early Christmas present for my 18yo niece, Lucca.
Her dad (my little brother) died 2yrs ago. He was a hard-core skater and a huge Jim Phillips fan. He had/has a huge collection of boards/decks etc containing Jim's artwork, plus a couple of posters of Jim's that still grace the loungeroom walls.
Lucca has inadvertently/by default, become a Jim Phillips fan...her dad would be proud ...and she us now the proud owner of all of it.
She is also interested in art & skateboarding, so has a huge respect for Jim Phillips.
As her 57yo 80's skater uncle...I'm stoked she loves the old 80's skate art & scene.
She's going to love this book! I can't wait 'til Christmas to give it to her.
I really need to get a copy for myself, ha.
