“This was my first experience in Hoonie school and I had so much fun! If you’re considering doing Hoonie school definitely do it you won’t regret it for a second. I was surprised by how many new words and phrases I learned. It was fun to be with Hoonies I knew but I also met so many cool new people! Ryan is one of the greatest teachers I’ve ever had there’s never a boring lesson! I’m going to continue doing Hoonie school in the future for sure!!”
“I started with Beginners 1. At first I was really hesitant of doing this course because I’m a shy person. However, when I look back it was the best decision I could’ve made. I made strong friendships with people all over the world.
I was really sad when Beginners 1 ended; I even cried (lol). So I decided to start with Beginners 2, and I absolutely don’t regret it! Not only were all my friends there with me again but I met other Hoonies who were nice and sweet too! I had a rough time during the weeks of the classes, but thanks to the Hoonies and Ryan I got through it. They always made me laugh, and made me feel loved!
The story line that Ryan made up was so much fun that it really sticks in your head. Even if it didn’t have a happy ending (lol). So if you want to start learning Korean in the best and fun way, I really recommend Ryan’s classes. He makes you feel really at ease, and at times he’s gonna pull you out of your comfort zone. He can be a 바보야 at times but in a good / funny way, but you get use to it quickly. So don’t be too shy and, I promise you, you will have a lot of fun and learn a lot during these classes!”

“I have been taking Ryan’s classes since May. And recently finished Beginner 2. It has been an Amazing journey throughout. Each class is as much fun as it was before. Ryan’s a great teacher whose method of teaching doesn’t feel overwhelming. He is patient, fun, friendly, a great listener and always approachable. With the basic theme/ Story line, you get to learn many new phrases and vocabulary. You also get to practice your lines during class and breakout room and correct your pronunciation. Other than that you meet many new members and form strong friendship bond across the globe. Overall there is never a dull moment during the class, and that makes you want to come back for more learning.”
