“I highly recommend the instructor, Michael Snodgrass. His years of experience in video production were evident in his training. As a subject matter expert he was able to address all the questions; used meaningful analogies; and real-life examples we might encounter. It would really be helpful to allow participants to review the recordings to reinforce the learning.”

“The tool appears to be very usable. I have been trying to use Screenflow, OBS and Camtasia looks like I can do everything from screen capture to video for my audience, which is "mature" adults.”

“Camtasia as a software is impressive. Mr. Hark seems to be quite knowledgeable about a variety of courses that he teaches as well as file formats. However, as an instructor, it was clear that he did not brush up on his Camtasia knowledge prior to the class. In several cases, he struggled to navigate the software, admitted doing so, and in the process, revealed his own learning curve with Camtasia. Please see the video recording from 9:45-9:55 central time from 4/7 on Zoom for an example. This was a hard pill for me to swallow as a professional instructor, who paid $900 to take this course. On a more positive note, Mr. Hark was quite personable throughout the 2 days, was very willing to help answer any questions that came his way, and he provided students with access to his personal website (offering additional information and resources), which he did not have to do.”

“See answer to the first open response question: I would not recommend a virtual training with Ledet, in particular a virtual course taught by this instructor, David Hark. There were numerous technical difficulties in Zoom that caused frustrating delays, and which the instructor didn't seem prepared to fix. Additionally, he was not a clear teacher and became confused MANY times by the application he was supposed to be instructing us in, Camtasia, to the point where his STUDENTS were pointing him towards where to click and offering explanations of why things were not working. It seemed as though David Hark was NOT familiar with Camtasia or at least had not taught this course for a long time. Students posed many questions he could not answer, the pace of his class was far too slow, and at many points painful because he seemed very lost in Camtasia.”
