I did learn what I needed and what I expected from the class, but the majority of the people taking the class already had editing knowledge and their questions were sometimes for processes that I would not be using and then the discussion would be a little more advanced. I guess I would have liked more of a true beginners class going step by step on making a video. But again I did get enough out of the class to feel comfortable with how I need to use the program for my work. The instructor really knows the product very well and really handled all the questions with no hesitation.

James is very knowledgeable on the program and helped answer any and all questions, so he was great. However, my hesitancy to recommend the class would be in regards to someone in my field with my experience. I am inexperienced with video creation and production and feel that Adobe Premiere relies so heavily on the back-end data for the video and audio being utilized, that I am a little lost when it comes to understating how to import and export properly. As James explained, the smart design and templates built into Adobe Premiere are very useful and I will definitely be defaulting to them. This is simply a fault of my own inexperience with the media that you need to utilize in Adobe Premiere to make a great product.

Teacher had real world experience.

It was helpful if you had questions that on-line classes can't do.

I would recommend this course to individuals who were new to the product or who haven't used it in a long time.

Very quick and not a lot of time for explanation.

The class moved forward too quickly and the instructor had to repeat himself two and three times each lesson. He should have taken that as an indication to slow down and really be sure everyone say each mouse click. Also, there were too many issues at the start of the class with the training materials. A good idea might be to call each class participant ahead of the class to ensure all materials have been downloaded. They are located in several places and it can get confusing. In addition, despite the fact that this is a beginners class, we never went over the different parts of adobe preimere and what they were called (eg. timeline, program, etc.) Overall the instructor def knew the material like the back of his hand and did a great job answering questions and addressing any issues. I learned a lot.

Tony Terrana was a patient, knowledgeable, and enjoyable instructor. Tony's coverage of Adobe Premiere training content enhanced my overall knowledge of the software and video editing. I would take another training class facilitated by Tony without hesitation. A few nit-picky suggestions for future training sessions: 1) Build in extra webinar technical troubleshooting time before the first session of training begins. Tony spent the first hour of day one training troubleshooting/resolving a multitude of attendee technical issues. 2) Create a set curriculum guide (or logical topic/activity list) and follow the guide during training. At several times during training we jumped between topics/activities due to another topic/question posed by a specific attendee. 3) Build in formal Q&A sessions at the end of each training day (half hour or so) versus using Q&A sessions to determine what topics are covered for the final hour of each class. Again, worthwhile training from a great instructor. Many thanks to Tony for the knowledge transfer and great class!
