There are 2 hidden facts that make this concept highly questionable: 1) Everett Rogers is quoted as saying there is no such thing as a chasm; and 2) the vast majority of all new products are refinements of things already in the mainstream...so starting with innovators and early adopters is not very common. This feels like someone is claiming there is a problem, that doesn't really exist.

Excellent this book enabled me to launch a software company in 2009 and make it the best platform in its class with over 40 million downloads. That company was CitySourced and now I am working on launching a new product called Afterlife which will be a very successful product because of this book and designing the product with its knowledge as givens.

Very informative. I liked the animations. Especially, I enjoyed having high execs from Microsoft, Mozilla and Box telling how it worked for them, rather then simply mentioning use cases
