“Absolutely brilliant, what a difference it makes. The previous owner/garage decided to remove this pillar when fitting a new alternator. As a result the adjusting link was bolted to the rear of the alternator's lower fixing lug making it really difficult to get to the bolt head to adjust/remove fan belt - real botched job. With this in place the adjusting link is now bolted to the front face of the alternator lug. Proper job, a doddle to adjust - one happy bunny...”
