on closing. Gas filled telescopic struts to counterbalance weight of bonnet. Kits supplied complete with fixing brackets and instructions.
Suitable for MGBs fitted with Steel Bonnets from 1970 to 1976. Please Note Bonnet Gas Strut Kit F340 is not suitable for early MGBs or MGCs manufactured from 1962 to 1969 fitted with Aluminium Bonnets, or for MGB or MGBCs fitted with Fibreglass Bonnets or for Right Hand Drive MGBs from 1976 onwards fitted with dual circuit brake master cylinder (GMC164).
