MGOC Spares stock high quality Rim Bands for wire wheels, designed to protect the inside of the inner tube from the spoke nuts found in the centre of the wheel well. When using inner tubes, it’s important to protect this area to reduce the risk of punctures. Rim Bands are designed to simply snap into place and provide a tight fi t over the spoke heads, they are more eff ective than insulation tape which over time goes hard cutting into the tube and loses adhesion, exposing the spoke nuts. Measuring 45mm wide and manufactured from a high-quality square cut elastic, Rim Bands incorporate a notch to align the band with the tyre valve. To suit 14” or W915 to suit 15” diameter wire wheels.
